Random Dice Roller

Roll one or more virtual dice with any number of sides from 2 to 100. The tool lists each roll and the total, which is handy for board games, tabletop role-playing and classroom probability activities.

How to use it

Choose the number of sides, for example 6 for a standard die or 20 for a tabletop game. Set how many dice to roll and press Roll. The results show each die and the total.

Example

Two 6-sided dice might show 4 and 3, with a total of 7.

Limits and accuracy

The roller supports 2 to 100 sides and up to 20 dice per roll. It does not apply modifiers, advantage or custom rules, so add those yourself when you play.

Frequently asked questions

Is a virtual die as fair as a real one?

Each face has an equal chance of landing, using the browser's secure random source. A physical die may vary slightly if it is weighted or damaged.

Can I roll a 20-sided die?

Yes. Set sides to 20. Any value from 2 to 100 works.
